We all know how tricky it can be to remember absolutely everything on the list for our summer getaways – especially if you’re packing for a partner and children too.

Travel toiletries from Boots
Even if it’s likely your holiday accommodation will provide toiletries, for peace of mind it’s worth packing some of the essentials, and Boots has a superb selection. Travel-sized toiletries will also come in handy in case your flight is delayed (provided they’re within the limits for liquids and are packed in your hand luggage rather than hold luggage). It’s worth stocking up on the main toiletries you’d use to feel nice and refreshed in case of a delay – mouthwash and toothpaste, deodorant, make-up wipes, moisturiser and dry shampoo.
Sunglasses, bikini and sarong
If you’re arriving at your destination early and want to make the most of the sunshine by heading straight to the beach, be sure to pack these either in your hand luggage or at the top of your hold suitcase so you can pick them out easily and quickly. There are so many gorgeous choices when it comes to holiday accessories this summer, it was difficult to pick our favourites. From beach day to all night boogie, gorgeous accessories that will take you from day to night
Versatile accessories are a must for any holiday when you have limited suitcase space. One bag that has really caught our eye this summer is this one from Accessorize (pictured). It combines vibrant colours and stripes with different textures and is big enough to hold everything you need if you’re out and about throughout the day and night. To give any daytime look a hint of glamour, be sure to pack a colourful lipstick (coral is always a safe bet for most skin tones), and statement jewellery, such as a chunky necklace or colourful bracelets.
Fabulous footwear
For a classic twist on espadrilles, check out Next’s footwear range. They have the timeless style in a number of colours, and we love the pair in white with a slingback instead of the traditional closed shoe design. You can probably get away with packing three pairs of shoes for your summer break – smart heels or wedges for the evening, a pair for daytime casual and some flip flops for the beach that you don’t mind getting wet or sandy.
