Tis the season for the Country Show…a special time of year where we don our wellington boots and waterproof hat and spend the day in a field eating local cooked sausages and watching sheep be judged.
It just so happens to be one of our favourite parts about the great British Summer. Rain or shine the Country Show season is a special part of our countryside tradition.
Here’s 3 tips on how to enjoy it to the max!
1. Wellington Boots
There are so many stylish wellies out there these days, and they really are a Country Show staple. You can team them with jeans and a shirt for a proper country laid back chic look OR we happen to think they look super cute with a floral dress and denim jacket.
2. Gillet (tweed optional)
Gillet’s are a Country Show institution…tweed, baffled, checked there is no end to the versatility of this wardrobe staple. Dress it up, dress it down, keep the bod warm and the arm pit area breezy!
3. Camp chair
No brainer. Who wants a wet bum? Nobody is our guess. You want to lounge in comfort while eating your Cumberland bun, not sit on soggy grass. Plus the terrier racing calls for a certain amount of concentration doesn’t it.
