Is that Autumn in the air?

Can you believe the school summer holidays are almost over already?! They seem to have whizzed past this year, we hope you’ve had an amazing summer whether staycation-ing, holidaying abroad or just enjoying everything our local area has to offer.

Now, we aren’t wishing the time away but there’s a small whiff of Autumn already in the air…AND we are already looking forward to some pumpkin spice coming our way…and could it be a few darker shades of dress have appeared in Next and Peacocks. We think so…

September also signals back to school and we have loved seeing excited kids popping into Claire’s to stock up on all their cool bags and accessories. September always feels like its a new year, and fresh start for so many. A time to reflect on your summer and embrace the change of season.

Of course here in Kendal we wear wellies all year, but towards the end of the month and the nights drawing in again it can only mean woolly socks and wellies on the old dog walks. Todd’s of Kendal always stock the most amazing footwear just perfect for the change in the weather when it comes.

We hope you’ve been enjoying our participation in local events, we always get the best feedback from you lovely lot. Coming up in September is the fantastic Kendal TorchLight festival, which we LOVE. Such a fun family event that brings us together as a community. Hope you can make it this year, we will be thoroughly enjoying all the talented local performers. They are amazing.
