We’re delighted to have Kendal Library in Elephant Yard. Although offering more than simply books, with PCs available for internet access, DVD, CD and audio book rental, as well as the tools to research your library tree, there’s no denying that Kendal Library is a fantastic spot to find some good reads for the year.
The year 2017 will see some great book releases for your young ones to get excited about. These include:
- Town & Country by Craig Shuttlewood, February, age 3+
- The Happy Prince, a Tale by Oscar Wilde, adapted by Maisie Paradise Shearring, April, age 5+
- Birds & Other Animals with Pablo Picasso, April, ages 1-3
- Cool Coding by Rob Hansen and Damien Weighill, June, ages 7-11
- Are You a Monkey? A Tale of Animal Charades, by Marine Rivoal, April, age 3+
- The Big Book of Beasts by Yuval Zommer, March, age 4+
Keep an eye out for the books in Kendal Library, as they sound like they’ll be great reads for your little ones this year. The library is open Monday and Tuesday 9:30am to 5pm, Wednesday 9:30am to 7pm, Thursday 9:30am to 1pm, Friday 9:30am to 4pm, Saturday 9:30am to 4pm and is closed on Sundays.
