Get in! Kendal Utd Junior Football Club is the latest recipient for a £100 Elephant Yard Community Treats award.
Kendal Utd Junior Football Club, who’s motto is “To promote loyalty, respect, team working, health and fitness in the young through football” is now 10 years old and boasts 220 energetic and enthusiastic young players that train in several different locations around Kendal each weekend.
Sean Cafferty, Vice-Chairman of the Club says:
“We keep players subs to an absolute minimum but operating costs increase every year so we really appreciate fundraisers, donations and sponsorships to enable us to keep our facilities and equipment in good shape.
This donation will help with portable equipment such as junior goals to enable us to spread our training and matches across local schools so we can maximise the number of kids involved. ”
Once again, Elephant Yard are very pleased to be able to support such a worthwhile cause with Community Treats.
